Is the PDF editor free?

Yes. Editing PDFs on pdf-juggler.com is free, with no sign-up and no watermark.

Are my files private?

Yes. Your PDF is opened, edited and saved entirely in your browser. It is never uploaded to our servers.

Can I change the text that is already in my PDF?

Yes. Choose Edit text, then click any line or paragraph to change its words, font, size or color. The original text is removed from the file where possible, and covered otherwise. On a scanned page, choose Find text: the scan is read in your browser (OCR), and the lines you edit are covered in the page's background color.

Which languages can I type in?

Latin-script languages, Cyrillic, Greek and Vietnamese, as well as Chinese, Japanese and Korean. Right-to-left scripts such as Arabic and Hebrew, and scripts such as Devanagari, are not supported yet.

Does Whiteout remove the content underneath?

No. Whiteout hides content visually, but the original text stays in the file and can still be copied. To permanently remove sensitive information, use the Redact PDF tool.

Does the editor work on mobile?

It works in modern mobile browsers, but a larger screen makes precise editing easier.
